Support the Nepali Community in Thunder Bay
NEST is a volunteer-led community organization. We organize events, welcome newcomers, celebrate our culture, and build community, all without paid staff, all with the energy and dedication of our volunteers.

Types of Support
Financial Sponsorship
Monetary contributions toward specific events or general community programs.
Food & Catering
In-kind contributions of food, ingredients, or catering services for events.
Venue Support
Contributions of space or venue access for events and gatherings.
Equipment & Materials
In-kind donations of supplies, equipment, prizes, or gifts for events.
Service Support
Skilled services in support of NEST events, photography, printing, sound, design, and more.
Outreach
Helping spread the word and connect NEST with new supporters and partners.
What Your Support Goes Toward

All use of funds is subject to board oversight and approval.
Board Review Process
NEST takes its responsibility to the community seriously. For this reason, all sponsorships, donations, partnerships, and public acknowledgements are reviewed by the NEST Board before they are accepted or confirmed. This ensures every form of support aligns with NEST's values, the needs of the event, our volunteers' capacity, and the trust of the community.
Public Acknowledgement
NEST aims to acknowledge sponsors and donors appropriately. Public acknowledgements, including name mentions, logos, or recognition on social media or at events, require board approval before they are confirmed or published. If you require a specific form of acknowledgement as a condition of your support, please note this in the inquiry form.
How to Donate or Transfer Funds
Financial support is accepted by Interac e-Transfer to:
tbaynepali@gmail.comInclude your name and the purpose (e.g., "NEST BBQ donation" or "General donation"). Please do not send funds to any other account, email, or individual, this is the only official NEST payment address. A confirmation is sent once your transfer is received and reviewed.
