Our Mission
To build a warm, active, and inclusive community for people of Nepali origin in Thunder Bay, by organizing events, supporting newcomers, connecting community members, and creating a space where everyone feels that they belong.

A Nepali community in Thunder Bay that is rooted, resilient, and proud, where newcomers are welcomed with care, families find community, and every member has the opportunity to give, to grow, and to belong.

Giving
Daan, दानWe give our time, knowledge, energy, and care freely. NEST is built by volunteers who believe that what you offer to the community comes back many times over.
Helping
Sahayog, सहयोगWe help one another, especially those who are new, uncertain, or navigating difficult beginnings. No one should have to ask twice for a hand.
Belonging
Samudaya, समुदायWe build a community where every person of Nepali origin feels that they belong here, no matter how long they have been in Thunder Bay or what their story is.
