NEST invites you

Namaste everyone,
Dashain is calling us home.
Far from Nepal, we still feel it every year. The tika, the jamara, the family gatherings, the joy that fills every home back there. Last year, we could not celebrate together. This year, let's bring that feeling back and make Thunder Bay feel a little closer to home.
If you are new to Thunder Bay or living here on your own, this message is for you too. We know how it feels. Classes, shifts, rent, a new city, and no family to come home to during the biggest festival of the year. Please do not spend this Dashain alone. Come and celebrate with people who understand. We promise you will not regret it.
To make it easier, all new Fall 2026 students get 50% off admission. Just bring your school ID.
And to our families, bring everyone. Let your children see how we celebrate, and let our elders bless the next generation. Children under 12 and seniors 65+ join free.
The programme takes its shape from whoever brings something to it: a song, a dance, an idea. If you have something to share, tell us and we will make room.
Do tell us about any dietary needs or allergies, so everyone eats well.
Register just yourself or your whole family in one form. Scan the code, or use the button above.

Warm regards,
